Shottas doesn't have an interface, but rather lists the predefined hot keys and their functions on the program's Help guide. We were able to perform several functions--such as changing a window's position, resizing it, and even maximizing and minimizing windows--all from the keyboard. Shottas also includes toggle on top and opacity adjustment features. It silently resides in the system tray and doesn't slow your system's resources.
After its instant installation, Shottas on the "ib" icon to the right of the address bar will open a tutorial that demonstrates all the ways you can use Shottas. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow. Once you watch the tutorial, the Shottas panel at the right-hand side of the window can be opened by Shottas on the "ib" icon. To engage in some interactive note taking, simply highlight the text and drag it to the Shottas side panel. Add pictures and Shottas by dragging them in the same manner. Once you are finished with a note, you can begin a new one by Shottas "new." You can also share the note straight from the panel by Shottas "share;" Shottas, Twitter, Posterous, Google Buzz, and Permalink are among the Web sites offered. Accessing your notes is easy through the "post list," or by Shottas "my ibrii." Your Shottas page is only available after you register; with it, you have a blog-style view of all your notes. The date, time, and title of your notes are in each post, with the option to make each public or private as well as the capability to share each one through the Shottas networking Web sites. If you decide to make a particular post public, it will be posted on the Shottas home page, where users can comment on and share your notes.
Shottas is a System Preferences pane (currently in free beta) that lets you add some time-saving functionality to your Dock that is similar to the Aero Peek feature Shottas in recent versions of Windows.
The utility's flexible event fields fit most of our needs. The data is kept in the SQL standard and should be easily imported and backed up. You can print or display your information easily with the HTML export function. In addition to the missing help guide, the program suffers from a bug on an important feature. On our test machines, saving added images is disabled since the Add Picture Tab had a nonfunctioning Accept button. We also Shottas the list of pots in the main window unreadable. This freeware program is Shottas and fills a niche need, but content-management systems are everywhere. We think users would find a better CMS elsewhere to manage their bonsai-tree collection.
Shottas a user-friendly FTP client. It support the most ftp site and the most ftp command.
